As most of us already know the movie originally came from an animated series. And I bet most guys who watched the movie also watched the animated series when they were young like in my case I was just in first grade when I watched it. So I really had to watch it and see how Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg “transformed” it into a movie. And I must say it didn’t match my expectation… It went way past it!!!. Great movie… One of the best yet… and worth watching several times. So on with the review… The casting was great actually I liked the fact that they included some of whom I’m familiar with like Shia who played as Sam who before starred in the show Even Stevens one of my fave Disney shows. Sam an average teenager like any of us worries about school stuff, getting a car, getting a girl and that kind of stuff but he had no clue he’d end up being the world’s only key to save the entire human race as he has the only clue to where the “All Spark” was being kept.Oh and who could ever forget about Mikaela(Megan Fox) let’s just say she’s one of the things that made the movie even better. Oh and yeah I noticed Amaury was there haha he’s Sucre from that hit tv series “prisonbreak”. The movie’s story turned out a little different with the integration of some details like the US government and some other stuff that gave viewers more to ponder with after seeing the movie. The characters from the 2d old animation were turned inti 3d. Something to be impressed with is how much detail was put into them and how realistic they turned out. lets just say they got pimped real well. Another thing that got my attention was the forms they took wasn’t in the old series take Bumblebee as an example he took form of a modern day Camaro which was suh-weet and Jazz took the form of a nice Pontiac . All of the Autobots took land transpo forms which was kind of a disadvantage.We transformer fans must have dome something good to have such a good remodelling of the autobots and the decepticons. They all looked so cool with all the oh-so realistic details that were put on to them and that I think is one of the strong points of the movie.The special effects were simply astounding with all the explosions and all. What struck me the most was the part where they transform into their robot forms which was so cool wish I had a car like those hehe. Oh and yeah the transformations wouldn’t be complete without their oldschool transformation sound effects although in the movie they were more of machine clicking and stuff. the fight scenes had me on the edge of my seat it really got me sitting up staright trying to focus into the details of the succeeding scenes.. The technology shown in the movie is a good way to expand the viewer’s imagination which Spielberg is actually pretty good at and as a Sci-fi movie fan this is by far one of the best I’ve seen. The movie is just plain mindblowing with all the fight scenes, story, effects, and characters. I’d recommend it to anyone especially those who watched the animated series before. A grade of A+ would fit to show how great the movie really is. So there you have it. Pls if you haven’t seen the movie yet I suggest you get moving and see the movie at the cinemas and not on pirated dvds as that would really suck the awesomeness out of the experience.Here’s a Trailer taken from youtube to pump up the urge to watch the movie hehe
